1. The Teaching Awards in the Lifelong Learning Sector The DTLLS and PGCE is designed to meet the needs of teachers in further and/or Adult and Community Education and trainers in the private and public sector as well as those working with 14-19 year olds in vocational settings.
It has been developed from high quality existing provision to fulfill all the new requirements for the expanding Lifelong Sector as specified by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK).
2. Short Course PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) Level 3/4 The course is a single unit required by those wishing to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. It provides an introduction to teaching and is the first level of qualification leading towards licensed practitioner status.
3. NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools'
This course applies to anyone who provides direct support for teaching & learning in any type of school - primary, secondary, special or pupil referral units.It has been developed to reflect changes in support staff roles following implementation of workforce reform. It covers the role of teaching assistant, but has been broadened in scope to include new roles & responsibilities such as cover supervision, exam invigilation & pastoral care.
4.
