Plumbing Success for College Student

Plumbing Success for College Student 14 March, 2016

T'Jay Johnson is studying Plumbing at Carshalton College and is currently on his first year of the Level 2 City & Guilds Plumbing Diploma.

T'Jay first became interested in Plumbing as a career when his sister Vicki was offered a place at the British Gas Academy after completing a Plumbing course herself at Carshalton College. Vicki was the only female on the course at the time. Now in her fourth year with British Gas, Vicki has completed her Duke of Edinburgh Gold and spoke on both the news and radio as part of her British Gas training.

T'Jay said: “I am very much hoping I can follow in my sister's footsteps and I am currently helping my brother-in-law to gain experience and practise his plumbing techniques with the help of what I am learning at College”.

Plumbing tutor, David Crook said: “this course is ideal to prepare students for the future and provides them with the knowledge and expertise to become the very best gas engineers”.
