Providing Electronic Security and Emergency Systems 2882-02 and 1853-02 Level 2

This City and Guilds NVQ Certificate has been designed as the base qualification for engineers involved in the installation and maintenance of electronic security and emergency systems.


Security and emergency systems installation, commissioning, maintenance, auditing, surveying and design. The qualification also provides for marketing and sales personnel who specialise in this industry. Also Employers Rights & Responsibilities plus Functional Skills in Mathematics Level 1; English Level 2 and ICT Level 1.

Entry Requirements

GCSEs English A*-D; Mathematics A*-D; Science A*-D plus suitable employment covering the range of work for the NVQ qualification.


2 years, part time.
