VOTE Faith Child! - MOBO nomination for Carshalton Rapper

MOBO nomiated Faith Child 14 October, 2015 MOBO nomiated Faith Child

Following the success of his sophomore album 'Airborne', Faith Child has received his second MOBO nomination. The South London rapper has spent the past couple years building his fanbase in the UK and Europe, which led to 'Airborne' peaking at number 5 in the Official Charts - Christian and Gospel in May.

"I'm stoked to be up again for a MOBO! It's humbling. Traditional Gospel music is notably one of the foundations of music of Black origin, and it is great that MOBO acknowledge that. As a musician, my aim is to primarily make good music, and with being a man of faith, my songs will always aim to inspire the listeners and carry a tangible message. MOBO's are the biggest platform championing what the mainstream may deem as a niche genre and I commend them for that. Big up MOBO." - Faith Child on MOBO nomination."

Faith's first nomination was in 2010 and amidst extensively touring the UK, Europe and Africa, he has gone on to raise awareness on social issues such as homelessness and the adbucted Chibok girls in Nigeria, as well as being personally invited to 10 Downing Street by the Prime Minister. Scheduled to play small size venues and arenas across London, Manchester, Coventry and Slovakia this month, Faith is in the run up to potentially picking up Best Gospel Act at the 2015 MOBO Awards.
