EAL Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation

This course provides a substantial part of training and underpinning knowledge for electrical installation work to assist in qualifying as an electrician within the industry. It is for people wishing to progress within electrical contracting or find employment in associated related industries for buildings and structures.

Assessment is through practical assignments and written tests by multiple choice questions.

  • Health & safety in building services engineering
  • Principles  of electrical science
  • Electrical installation technology
  • Installation of wiring systems  and enclosures
  • Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering.

Entry Requirements

None – suitable for people without experience in electrical and new to the industry however, English and Maths skills at an intermediate level are neccessary and a willingness by the applicant to study in their own time.

Duration

Approx. 36 weeks (term time only), Day courses 9.00am- 4.00pm or evening courses, 2 evenings per week from 6pm -9pm

Progression

Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation but dependent on a minimum of 85% attendance

Current course fee - £1895 (This includes registration, exam entry and one re take (if needed). Please note that any additional re takes will incur additional charges)
