Our Beauty Therapy and Media students and staff received a visit by Holly McNamara and two of her Angels, Sophie and Robyn from HM Cosmetics.
Holly, a former student of our Beauty Therapy Tutor Carly Breen, started her Beauty business from her mum's garage.
She is now a renowned Beauty Influencer owning two salons and treating a plethora of famous clients along with her team of staff known as Angels.
Holly shared her aspirational journey including the challenges many businesses faced throughout Covid and how social media and digital marketing has supported her efforts to grow her business which has produced over 35k Instagram followers! She is passionate about making clients feel good about themselves.
When Holly was choosing her career path, she was told by many that becoming a Beauty Theapist was not going to earn much of an income and that she would be better off choosing a more Business type course.
She was convinced they were wrong and has worked hard to develop her skills, learn how to run a business, train and support her staff and to become a Beauty Influencer.
Holly is an amazing advocate of the Beauty industry and loves to share her experiences with students and learners looking to enter this fast moving and rewarding industry.
